for anyone that finds this. ESP32 boards pull a lot of juice. sometimes more than the usb port on the pc will provide. try a different usb port on the pc. or in my case i have a powered hub. it then connects with no issues. beforehand it was just connecting and disconnecting.
Hello , I have a problem with my USB devices. All devices keep disconnecting for like 1-3 seconds. This problem appeared after i reinstalled Windows. I tried a lot of fixes but it didnt work. ( tried windows 7/8.1/10 , update drivers , disable power management shuting down my usb ports from Power Settings ) I tried to update the latest chipset
Unzip the file, paste the unzipped folder in to the USB drive. Restart your computer and open bios, go to "boot" and enable all of the "flash" options. Also if you see anything called "backup," do that too. Go to "advanced" and hit "BIOS flash". Then wait, and it should update.
